As always the cured meats are always delicious but the "secret cured meat" is especially good

Eggplant Parmigiana
Although Paalo is not a huge lover of eggplant, he could easily have eaten an oven full of this parmigiana. The eggplant is sliced finely which gives it a much lighter texture - it's soft, cheesy and bursting with rich tomato flavours.

Battered Sage leaves with anchovies
White anchovies are sandwiched between two sage leaves, battered and then deep fried - you'd think that with such strongly flavoured elements the end product would be overpowering but it isn't.

Polenta with Beans
Borlotti beans have been tossed through polenta and allowed to set - it's then sliced and sauteed until golden and served with squacquerone cheese.

Arancino
Saffron risotto serves as the base of this Arancino, stuffed with cheese and served with a rich meat ragu.

Chocolate and Hazelnut Tart
Dark chocolate - semi set resting upon a base of roasted hazelnuts - delicious!

As we've come to expect it's another fantastic, authentic meal and we can't wait for our next visit.
