Dinner @ ZenZero Blu

Tonight we're going out with Al and Elle for two very good reasons - one I haven't seen them for 2 and a half months and two, I need to pick up my Italian packages!

We're going to a place I've not been to but one in which Paalo experienced twice while I was away.



We begin with dips and bread




Next up is a plate made up of several dishes. From centre going clockwise: Crumbed scallops, arancini, grilled cheese with honey, chicken satay





eggplant rolls with tomato salsa




spicy squid




lamb meatballs

For dessert we succumbed to the temptation



churros with chocolate sauce and ice cream

Classic Chorizo and eggplant rolls started off a re-visit to zenzeroblu



The arancini were so good last time that a double order was in order for today. Tried the vege spring rolls this time and all was good.



Who can resist fried cheese and the sweet potatoes were good as well.




As, of course there are the churros.

Dinner @ ZenZero Blu

After a hectic few days I joined Elle and Al for some relaxing Tapas.



The tapas menu is quite varied, more Italian / Asian than Spanish



We started off with some roasted new potatoes with paprika served with creamy black olive dip and crumbed goats cheese and warm crumbed goats cheese. The dip was a stand out.




Next came porcini mushroom and pumpkin arancini and Moroccan meat balls with lamb and coriander yoghurt. The arancini are definatly moorish. (Pun intended).



Duck spring rolls with orange soy sauce and Crispy scallops with wasabi mayonnaise.



Spicy squid.



All was enjoyed by all!



and we even had some room for dessert. Crispy coconut bananas and churros.

An excellent evening, I'll be back.
