The restaurant is buzzing - it's full with a couple of larger groups dining though I must say that temperature wise, the room is a little on the warm side.
For starters we have the antipasto plate for two
Going clockwise from the Arancini, we have sliced beef, confit duck pie with puy lentils, oysters in the shell grilled with fontina, cured ocean trout and a rocket and parmesan salad in the centre. It certainly does its job and gets those taste buds working.
For mains:
Paalo has the open lasagna
I have the Gnocchi with ragu.
For dessert:
Paalo has the mille feuille with rhubarb and custard
and I have the chocolate and date sticky pudding.
