Lunch @ Les Boucheries Parisiennes

It's been a couple of months since we've been to Les Boucheries so a visit was well overdue. As it turns out, you could say our timing was quite good as changes are in the pipework.  There'll be a new name and a different direction food wise but not to worry, it still will be in the capable hands of Chef Paul Griffiths.

So for our lunch today, we've got a little sneak peek at what's on offer in the near future.

This is one of dishes from the bar menu which I think is going to be downstairs while the restaurant proper will be upstairs. Downstairs menu will be a bit more casual, a bit tapas if you like.

As always, the scallops here are sublime. Cooked to the second, still beautifully translucent inside and served on a pea risotto, that you'd happily eat on its own.

This is from the restaurant a la carte menu - we've always loved the meat at Les Boucheries and this easily is up there with the best. Tender, full of flavour and cooked as it should.

It looks adorable, tastes divine.
