I can't believe it's taken us 10 months to return to Lulo. As circumstance would have it, we just happened to be driving past after a long day at work, it was late and lucky for us, they managed to find us a table.
Sherry Vinegar and Olive oil served with a good crusty bread
The menu is basically divided into small and large plates that are best shared.
Zucchini flowers stuffed with manchego
Good light batter with a lovely crunch, inside an oozing cheese based stuffing.
Croquetas de Jamon - Jamon croquettes served on a fennel salad
Yuca Frita - potato cassava fried until golden and served with zesty aioli
Roasted Brussels sprouts with chorizo and caramelised walnuts
Twice cooked free-range pork belly with apple and fig - I found the pork belly a little tough and skin wasn't quite as crisp as it could have been.
Churros with chocolate - this is a serving for one - easily enough for two.
Service can be a bit slow but there's a good wine list. Hopefully it won't be too long before we visit again.
