For lunch apart from the regular a la carte offering there is also a lunch special menu, 2 courses & a glass for $35. Since some of our favourite dishes were also on the lunch special we've gone for that option.
For starters:
Elle's selection - which is fairly self explanatory. It's a dish full of flavour and using rice noodles adds a really interesting textural element.
I could not go past this dish, I love it when it's on the degustation menu, the only problem is that there is never enough of it!
For mains:
We've both gone for the pie - beautiful flaky pastry surrounds a tasty filling, filled with chicken and chinese sausage, the sauce is rich and voluptuous.
For dessert:
A trio of desserts to share. I'm not a huge fan of the fondant pudding, it's always too large and too rich but this was a very good size. Also felt that the other two desserts helped to tone down the richness of the fondant and each on their own are extremely good desserts.
