Firstly congratulations to "The Press Club" and George Calombaris, a well deserving Chef of the Year.
ReplyDeleteI'm certainly scratching my head over some of the other ""awards"", I'm looking forward to the explanations over how the Restaurant of the year didn't get be the best new restaurant of the year.
Also, why didn't the only 3 hat restaurant get ROTY? Does this imply that the ROTY isn't the best restaurant?
As for the 2 hat and 1 hat listings, well we can see that the usual suspects are still liked and disliked by the reviewers. I think it's probably time for the reviewers to lose the anonymity, or at least declare their interests. Lets face it restaurateur's generally know who they are anyway.
