For starters:
Seared Scallops with Truffle Pommes Mouselline and Cauliflower puree
There's a lot more mouselline than the previous visit - not that I'm complaining. Tastewise it's just as good as before.
Papparadelle with braised goat, green olives and pecorino
Al's reordered the papparadelle as he really enjoyed them last time - this time, they weren't as good. The pasta wasn't quite as silky and the pecorino was missing which upset the balance of the dish.
Chicken Parfait - from Menu du Jour
Elle and Paalo ordered the same dish but a differing opionins. Elle thought it too strong and texturally too soft. Paalo quite liked that strong iron rich flavour of liver and his seemed to be a little more firmly set.
Mains:
David Blackmore full blood wagyu (9+ marble score, 600 days grain fed) Braised Intercostal and Brisket
A small pot that packs a wallop of flavour. Meat so soft you really don't need to chew it.
Lamb Wellington - from Menu du Jour
Bit of mixed opinions on this as well - Elle's wellington wasn't quite as browned as the other two so it lacked any crunch - the pastry was just too soft for her liking. The lamb inside was beaufully cooked.
Dessert:
Mango Eton Mess - from Menu du Jour
Very clever arrangement - served inside a frozen mango skin.
Pistachio madeleines with Marsala
I couldn't go past ordering this again - truly delicious.
Pistachio Mousse Cake - from the Cake cabinet
