The menu is quite small - there's a selection of shareable dishes as well as a few entree/main options. We begin with some dishes to share:
Crostini - on the left, avocado, rocket and prosciutto and on the right, blue cheese and fig
Scallops on the shell with garlic buttery crumbs - beautifully cooked scallops, still translucent on the inside
Rosemary Arancini - just as good as ever
For mains:
Barramundi Fillet on caponata
A simple preparation - the fillet is cooked "a la meunier" - sauteed in a nut brown butter and parsley combination and served on a chunky caponata.
Potato Gnocchi with peas, asparagus and tomato sauce
The gnocchi still haven't reached the nirvana of our first experience but these are getting closer. A good small size, full of potato without being heavy - the sauce is quite light even though it is tomato based. The spring greens, peas and asparagus, give it a lovely fresh feel.
Dessert:
Pistachio ice cream filled profiteroles and Pannacotta
