Today was spent in one place - the cleverly named, Eataly.
Eataly is a store that is dedicated to showing high quality food and produce and it's taken 4 years of planning to bring it to life. It only opened in February this year. Within the building there are 8 produce specific restaurants, a coffee bar, gelateria and even an high-end restaurant called Guido.
One of the more interesting sections are the curing rooms in the lower floor of the building - you can enter these temperature controlled rooms and gaze lovingly at rounds and round of parmesan and racks of Culatello.
You can even purchase a whole unit, be it cheese or cured meat and they will store it for you until it's perfectly matured.
Lunch at the Meat Restaurant:
Paalo's Choice: La Salsiccia Suina
My Choice: La Gran Tagliata de La Granda
To Drink: Serafini Prosecco and Serafini Rosé
Fruit and Veg:
