What a thoroughly enjoyable way to start the day!
We then took another turn around the market
We had lunch and dinner in our apartment and after dinner took a stroll to see the state of the festival and was surprised to find it over with the stall holders packing up and some already gone.
Even the chestnut roasting was over with only the shells remaining as proof
they must have been roasting them over a huge fire with all these extinguishers at the ready ;)
Even the deer head is ready to go!
The Sicilian sweets are already on the road
And this is all that is left of the huge Cinghiale Mortadella!
Even the streets are fairly empty - another Sunday night with the working week set to begin again.
